Forever Ours Program

Every rescue has babies that join our family and for various reasons, usually medical, they stay in our family until it’s time for their trip to the Rainbow Bridge. These babies join our “Forever Ours” club. Members of this club will be spoiled rotten and receive everything they need including lots of love, treats, and compassion and we will be right there with them when they leave us!

BABETTE was switched around to a few homes when her human passed, then eventually came to us. She had several medical issues and it was decided that it was best for her to live out her last years with us. She enjoys outside time with Francis and Theresa. Babette and Francis have become our “old married couple”.

FRANCIS was left tied to the fence at our building. He was underweight and once we got him to the vet, we found out it was due to an aggressive thyroid cancer. Francis loves canned chicken, running around, and giving the best snuggles.
MEMBERS THAT LIVE WITH OUR FOUNDERS
BABY BOY is our celebrity in the Forever Ours Club!! He was on several local news channels because of the horrific injuries he had when we brought him into our family!! He had months of treatment for the burns on his body and his eyes!! He has been with us five years now and he joined Peanut at his quarterly Dr DeCosta checkups until last year when Peanut’s eye was removed. Now he flies solo and recently had an ablation surgery to help him keep what little eyesight he had retained from his injuries. His favorite place to be is in PaaPaa’s lap riding around in the scooter!

PEANUT came to us in 2016 from TPAS. He had a scratch on his eye that at first was thought to be a somewhat routine injury but after a few runs of antibiotics, drops and creams we were referred to Dr deCosta an eye specialist in the area when Dr Rollie thought maybe it was actually a cat scratch which has a tendency to be deeper and a little trickier to heal. Peanut has had more eye drops, eye creams and antibiotics than you can phantom plus quarterly and sometimes monthly doctor visits than imaginable. Unfortunately, last year the pressure in the eye could no longer be controlled and the eye had to be removed. Due to the expense of his medical needs early on it was decided to keep him with us and he will remain with us forever!!
